An electronic programme guide adds schedule information to a channel list. It is separate from the video stream and may need its own refresh or source configuration in the player. Begin by checking whether the channel itself plays before treating a missing schedule as an account failure.
Read the time correctly
Compare your device clock and timezone with the local time. If all programmes are shifted by the same amount, a timezone or guide offset is a better starting point than reinstalling. Note both the listed programme time and the expected local time before changing an offset.
Refresh only what is affected
Use the player’s guide update control if one is available. Give the download time to complete and check more than one channel. If one channel has no schedule but others are correct, report that channel specifically. Reimporting the whole account can remove useful local preferences without fixing guide mapping.
Understand the limit of schedule data
A programme listing does not prove a replay is available, and a blank future slot does not necessarily mean the live channel is unavailable. Event schedules can change. For a sports event or another important broadcast, confirm the channel and start time separately.
Your checklist
- Check live playback separately.
- Compare device timezone with local time.
- Refresh guide data once and wait.
- Report the exact channel and time mismatch.
Does an EPG entry mean I can watch the programme later?
No. A schedule and a catch-up feature are different. Replay availability depends on the supplied feed and player.
