All sports channels and PPV events are included in the service. To prepare for a particular event, confirm the event name, date and relevant channel with support. A schedule can change, so an old programme-guide entry is not a substitute for checking the actual event details.
Prepare before the start
Open your player ahead of the event and make sure your account is active. Check the local timezone and the correct regional channel version. Test the remote, picture and sound while there is time to resolve an issue. Avoid starting a device update just before the programme begins.
Reduce avoidable interruptions
Use your most reliable home connection and pause large downloads during the event. Close streams on unused devices, especially if your plan has a limited number of simultaneous connections. Make changes one at a time so you know whether the network, player or selected feed made the difference.
Send a useful event report
If a feed fails, try another unrelated live channel and record the result. Tell support the event, selected channel, time and device. Specify whether the channel will not open, repeatedly buffers or shows the wrong programme. This is more actionable than reporting only that sports are not working.
Your checklist
- Confirm event, date and local start time.
- Test the channel before the programme.
- Close unused active streams.
- Keep support contact details ready.
Should I wait until the event starts to request setup help?
Set up and test beforehand. That leaves time to resolve device, login or connection problems before the live programme.
