A working picture with no sound usually deserves an audio-focused check first. Keep the same title while looking at volume, mute and output selection. Account resets and playlist replacement are unlikely to explain why video already reaches the screen but sound does not.
Check every volume control
Inspect mute and volume in the player, on the television and on any soundbar or receiver. A remote may control only one of these. Confirm the expected audio output is selected, especially after connecting headphones, using Bluetooth or switching the television input.
Compare the selected audio track
If the playback menu offers multiple tracks, try another listed option. Then compare a second title or channel. If only one item is silent, record that detail. If every app is silent through the same speakers, the problem is broader than the IPTV player.
Test a simpler output
Where practical, try the television’s own speakers as a comparison. If those work but the external system does not, investigate the external audio path and supported formats. Change one setting at a time and preserve the original value so an unsuccessful test can be reversed.
Your checklist
- Check player, TV and speaker mute.
- Try another available audio track.
- Compare television speakers with the external system.
What to take away
Follow the sound path in order. A clear report says which output is silent and whether other content or applications produce sound on it.
